AMIB marca presença durante o evento presencial. A Aliança reúne mais de 50 entidades da sociedade civil
Na última terça-feira, 28 de setembro, a Associação de Medicina Intensiva Brasileira esteve presente, por meio de seu Diretor Científico Dr. Hugo Urbano, no evento com o Ministério da Saúde no qual teve a assinatura do termo de adesão à Aliança pelo parto Seguro e Respeitoso.
A Aliança Nacional para o Parto Seguro e Respeitoso reúne em torno de 50 entidades, dispostas a atuar em prol da redução da mortalidade materna e neonatal e da garantia de direitos básicos para o parto e para o nascimento seguros em nosso país.
A Aliança foi criada atendendo ao chamado da Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS), que escolheu o “Cuidado materno e neonatal seguro” como tema do Dia Mundial da Segurança do Paciente 2021, comemorado em 17 de setembro.
A complexidade dos problemas no Brasil exige não apenas que as organizações de saúde tomem iniciativas específicas, mas principalmente demanda uma resposta coletiva, abrangente, multiprofissional.
“Cada vez mais, vemos que estamos trabalhando para deixar um importante legado em prol do amor intenso pela vida. A gestão da atual diretoria foi marcada pela grande proximidade entre a AMIB e a Sociedade coordenadora da Aliança, a Sociedade Brasileira de Segurança do Paciente (SOBRASP). Temos o mesmo interesse: garantir o melhor tratamento para o paciente no ponto de vista de segurança” – afirma o Dr. Hugo.
